oscar reports duplicate sessions, doubles ahi, retains correct usage time
I've lost track of which thread and which forum I raised this issue before; sorry about the new thread. slightly different behavior today.
yesterday oscar reported that settings were guessed and machine info under AHI was skewed left. as expected these issues disappeared when I downloaded the next night's info this morning. however, it duplicated the session info and doubled the ahi without doubling the machine usage time. yesterday with guessed settings oscar showed hours at 4:48 and ahi of 5.xx. today, settings are not guessed and text not skewed, hours are the same and ahi doubled to 11.67.
it's gotta be a coincidence that the skewed text and guessed settings happened on a couple nights with my highest ahi's (greater than 5; most nights are under 2), right?
RE: oscar reports duplicate sessions, doubles ahi, retains correct usage time
Did you purge data for a day and re-import it? I have seen this kind of behavior associated with that sequence.
Regarding doubling of the AHI, your session list shows that sessions were duplicated during the day. That results in twice as many events divided by an unchanged number of hours.
The next version of OSCAR will allow you to import additional data from the same day. This should take care of the problem with the number of sessions (and AHI) being doubled.

I assume purging will fix the problem but figured to wait in case you wanted more info.
no idea what might have caused the initial guessed settings/skewed text. I didn't change settings, download more than once or purge data.
no idea why it repairs itself after downloading the next night's data & why unlike last time it duplicated sessions and why usage time didn't also double.
RE: oscar reports duplicate sessions, doubles ahi, retains correct usage time
There are changes to the ResMed loader coming in the next version of OSCAR that should solve (most of) these problems. I don't need any more SD cards at this time, since the problem is related to the sequence of importing and purging, not to the data per se.

fyi, guessed settings and skewed text happened again 8/31/20 for no discernible reason. again, downloading the next night's data duplicated sessions and doubled ahi. unfortunately I don't remember if the settings and text alignment returned to normal at that point or after last night's download (2nd night after the problem). in any event, I expected all to be resolved after downloading last night's data but unlike last time, it still shows duplicate sessions and doubled ahi. first I just turned the dupes off, then rebuilt the data, which returned everything to as it should be. I understand this will be fixed in a future release so just fyi re slightly different behavior. no need to reply.
RE: oscar reports duplicate sessions, doubles ahi, retains correct usage time
Have you, or can you, try using a new SD card? Since you and I have the same machine and I'm not experiencing any of your problems, I'm thinking the process of elimination might point to the culprit.

I haven't but will try once I get another card, which might take a few days. it's not a big problem since it's easily worked around but it's worth checking the sd card. thanks for the suggestion.

I hope you, and any other beta testers, are paying attention to the Beta test forum.
