pressure plateau
RE: pressure plateau
I'm not saying you need any type of machine or a 2 machine setup specifically (just as a discussion and example right now), but even if you needed ASV or an NIV and you are found to need more oxygen, you would be in a situation where you'd need to have 2 machines manipulating what you breathe. You could be on a machine to control apnea and an oxygen concentrator feeding oxy to the mask via a hose bleed.

I think this would be beneficial.

The sleep study is partial, and I have more info, graphs, summary, etc....Preferred Members,  I have unlimited attachment space, but file sizes are limited to 700 kilobytes for image files and 1 MB for other file types. This download is a interpretation by head Pulmonary Dr. at my Dr.'s office.

UPDATE.....   Split titration study

Just got off the phone with Dr's office.........

Ins. Co. requires CPAP titration to prove it doesn't drop CA's...... then switch over ti Bi Level ASV titrate study.

RE: pressure plateau
anybody have a suggestion to transfer a PDF to an address link from Imgur ?

Insurance company is a real PIA ! They have to let the sleep study do a CPAP titration after me being on it for three months... showing that CPAP doesn't manage CA's... SMH

RE: pressure plateau
Thus our push for a split study, This was the immediate goal, Get a copy of this sleep study after they have analyzed it.

Any chance you can break up that PDF in chumks, Print pages abcdef to PDF, then repeat with ghijkl etc.

Many computers have a "Print to PDF" option. Instead of printing to a printer you can print to a PDF file and in the setup you just ask it t0, for example, print pages 1-5 then repeat for pages 6-10. You get new PDF files with fewer pages. What kind of computer do you have? Mine is Windows 10.

FYI, the main thing we would have used it for would have been to justify getting your ASV Sleep Study.

I attached the lead Dr's interpretation... and the recommended study is CPAP titration. I'm sure the Dr. wrote it up this way knowing the Ins Co. wanted it this way before BPAP.

RE: pressure plateau
As you have already noted there is no mention of centrals in the summary. This is why we always ask for the whole report, to see if, and there very often are, mention of significant centrals in the details, not always.
