program question
Anybody have a suggestion of where I can post photos and/or videos from my smart phone?

Someone told me about drop box but I don't like what I have read about it from users. I really don't want something that will access my contacts and other personal info. I use my phone a lot for email and messaging.

thanks.

RE: program question
Flickr and Photobucket - online photo album places (I'm sure there's more)

Google Drive - cloud service, same as Dropbox. There's a lot of these "cloud" places around. Sharing is easier with these two.

Others:
shutterfly
snapfish
imgur

I've used photobucket for multiple years - I've not tried any others as I am pleased with photobucket.

Google+ works really well, as does Photobucket.

RE: program question
But if I use photobucket in that way, doesn't that allow you access to my photobucket library where I may have private stuff I don't want you to see? Is there some privacy setting in photobucket that I need to turn on or am I just being paranoid?

RE: program question
I believe you can set individual albums to public. Only the items within that album are viewable. I think.

And just a reminder, use the IMG tag for non-CPAP stuff. Attachments are only for CPAP stuff.

I set all my albums as private. You might be able to look back into the album I have put an [img] tag to. But, you'll not see the other albums.
Plus, I totally faked the user name; and used a throw-away email address to create it.

Feel free to look around mine. Most of it is open, but the locked area (very plain to me) isn't even something you can see is locked.

Ah ha. That's what I need to do.

I could see only that one photo.

I didn't do either of those. Hence my paranoia. On another forum, not CPAP-related at all, I use my real name so it's not an issue there. But here on this forum there's just too much traffic and there's always the risk of making someone mad. It just takes one.
