questions re DeVilbiss IntelliPAP Autoadjust
Here are my questions:
1. Can I use the 12 volt adapter cable I bought for my respironics m series?

2. If I use the sleepyhead software, what kind of cables, data cards, data readers do I need to purchase to transfer the data to my computer? Can I get away with the DeVilbiss SmartLink Module (DV5M), and put old style sd card in my computer's sd reader, or do I also need the cables that come with the DV5-SS-2 kit?

Thanks!
Dave

question #3
on the LCD screen, when the machine is powered on, it shows P:7, will not go higher than this when I have my mask on and test the autoadjust feature.

I assume that P:7 refers to the current air pressure.

My settings are: autoadjust, upper limit 12, lower limit 7.

It would seam if I try to stop breathing to feign an apnea, the air pressure should go up to P:12.

Can anyone tell me whether I am correct in assuming this to be the case, or is it possible the upper pressure will only kick in if I am actually sleeping, have an apnea, and breathe in a way that is "visible" to the machines "algorithms"?

If I am correct (that the air pressure should go up to P:12, I think this machine (bought it used) is possibly failing to work with the auto adjust feature, in which case I will just use the cpap function.
