sleepyHead vs ResScan

sleepyHead vs ResScan
I have both SleepyHead and ResScan software installed and loaded with 4 months data. SleepyHead seems much more used friendly. I can look at daily data and zoom in and expand on any AHI occurence and look at summary data easily.

ResScan shows summary data but I cannot determine how to look at detailed daily data and zoom in on specific events.

I poked around the HELP file in the ResScan screen and believe that I D/L all the data but the DETAILED DATA screen says that there is no data available. All I can look at is summary data. I tried several times to load the data.

What is the better software?
Thanks

Hi netsurfer
Does SleepyHead shows detailed data? if not, then, I assume your machine is the "CPAP" model which is not detailed data capable
If on the other hand, the machine is the "Elite" model and SleepyHead shows detailed data, you'll need to select "all available data" during download as shown in post #2 http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...398#pid398 also see post #1 for the link to "ResScan Report Interpretation Guide"

Sleepyhead is more user friendly despite the undocumented features.

ResScan is what your sleep doctor or DMEs are used to using.

When I showed my sleep doc the printouts for sleepyhead she asked if she can keep them to show her colleagues. I'm due for a follow up in October and I'll be showing her more of Sleepyhead. Some day we'll be able to just show them "live" data on the tablet. That would impress.

Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

Hi everyone-

I have a similar question. I can easily import all the detailed info into sleepyhead, but I can't find any detailed info using the ResMed software. Any thoughts?

Thanks
