Go enjoy your trip. Extra parts are very unlikely to be needed on a 10 day trip, and luggage space should be saved for gifts or souvenirs. I can sure relate to the earlier comment of forgetting the power supply. That happened to me once, and I'm sure it will never be overlooked again.
Have fun. I just got back from my niece's wedding, but unfortunately it was not in the tropics.
