win 10 ASSISTANCE
i AM NOW DESPERATE FOR SOME GUIDANCE!!!

I recently moved to a new laptop (XP one died),

I have a W-03 flashair configured and connecting to the network, Flashpap installed and connects with the Flashair, lists the present day files but when I request an upload to the LT, only the .txt files copy over..  The transfer request will finally time-out, never get to the "DONE"..

Win10 is some how inhibiting the transfer, have chased this for a week but cannot resolve the issue...

Have tried disabling all firewalls and added some exceptions, but alas no dice...

On the good side my AHI has reported 0.00 for the past 10 days, with one 0.01 in the middle...

Several reasons come to mind:

1) Your FlashAir card is too far away from your Wifi router.
2) you may have something not set properly in the CONFIG file on the FlashAir (please post it and we'll look)
3) What folder are you trying to copy to on your laptop and have you tried it with realtime scan on your Anti-virus temporarily shut off?
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

It is extremely unlikely, but i guess theoretically possible, that your AHI is 0.0 for ten straight days.  And, it seems to me impossible, although I'm no math guru, to have an AHI of 0.01.  Assuming you actually slept for 24 hours, the best AHI with 1 apnea would be 1/24 = .04  If you slept 8 hours with 1 apnea it would be 1/8 = .125  Usually, it suggests a problem with the machine. The cure is usually to simply unplug the machine from the power source and then plug it back in.  The machine should then start to report properly.  Who knows, maybe this will help solve your other problem.  Post a snap shot of your config file when convenient.

Win 10 sure is different. I run Classic Shell (free) because I dislike the Tiles. Classic Shell gives me the start menu similar to Windows 7 while still having the Win 10 menu/desktop available if I need it (I rarely need it).

Quick note on Classic Shell though is it is no longer developed and will eventually break unless someone picks up the product and continues to update it. It's in open source now on github.

I, too, use Classic Shell and love it...

One problem I found with the win 7 shell is it caused problems with a couple of programs on windows10. One of the programs being Resscan. After loading a fresh copy of windows 10 without the shell I was able to load Rescan and one or two other programs that had problems and they worked fine. So for anyone who has a shell and can't get resscan to run on windows 10 now you know.

Have you tried running the software as administrator and in Windows XP compatibility mode? Those settings sometimes help when using legacy software on Windows 10.

Thankee for reminder of Classic Shell. I just added it back. Me like it better than 10 standard start.
