Hope you’re surviving the latest flavors of reality.
Five months after it was stolen, my DME said they had
a new machine for me. Used it for three nights without
changing either the DME’s or sleep doc’s settings.
Here’s what I found:
-- Both “Smart” settings are on. The pressure bug
(pressure goes to zero rather than to previous value)
is still present.
-- Sleep doc’s pressure range is 11 to 16.
-- Other settings that may have been changed:
* Ramp: Auto
* Pressure Relief: Off
* Autoset Response: Standard
* EPR: On
* EPR Type: Full Time
* EPR Level: 3
Summary of last night:
Used Hrs.: 7.9
Pressure: 15.8
Leak: 37 L/min.
AHI: 25.6
Total AI: 25.3
Obstructive AI: 2.0
Central AI: 7.2
My Windows machine has a network issue. It doesn’t see any servers.
It’s not a browser issue. This post is via my old Mac.
I’ll continue to use the xPAP, with an SD card, and run OSCAR, to
collect charts to post when the Win machine is working again.
A stolen machine is an exception to Medicare’s procedures, so it
may decide not to pay for the replacement machine. Fingers crossed.
I may have to appeal.
Best to everybody, and glad to be back.
