Missing Data from my S9 - Dave Schmitt - 10-10-2015

I import the date for my Res Med S9 Esacape auto
It has times dates etc but no AHI
Also the pressure chart never changes although I have on auto between 6 & 15

The Escape Auto only provides compliance data - so whether you use it for over 4 hours. It won't show you any other data.

G'day Dave, welcome to Apnea Board. Unfortunately your machine is what we disparagingly refer to as a brick - it doesn't have the capability to save and report the necessary data. Any machine which has Escape in the name should be avoided for this reason.

Hi Dave,
If you haven't had your machine very long, hopefully under 30 days, then call your supplier/DME and request a data capable auto machine. Explain to them that it is important for you to keep track of your data.

You have to live with this machine for a long time, so get what you want. DME's are notorious for giving out machines like this.

Here is a list of machines to consider/avoid.

Hi Dave,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
If you haven’t had this machine very long, I would take it back and exchange it for a data-capable machine.
Much success to you with your CPAP therapy.

First, try reboot the machine, unplug from wall outlet, wait a while, and plug back
S9 Escape Auto is not full data capable machine but display usage and AHI (no breakdown of AHI, no leak and no detailed data on the SD card)
Maybe you'll need to look in the "advanced info menu" sleep report, press and hold both silver buttons for 3 seconds
The "standard info menu" (press and hold the "i" buttons for 3 seconds) goes to zero after 12 midday (start of a new CPAP day)

Edit: ResScan support S9 EScape Auto http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-ResScan-5-4-1-Software-Download-Link-for-ResMed-machines-only

The Escape Auto is a half-brick. It is an auto for 30 days then goes to straight CPAP. It reports minimal data. That data is viewable via the screen that day or via ResScan w/in the 7 day period. I don't think it shows graphs, just the numbers.

Like others have said, if you have had it less than 30 days, take it back and request either the Elite or the Autoset.

You've got it mixed up with Respironcis machine, S9 Escape Auto is proper APAP machine (not AutoSet)
Data viewable up to 365 days on the screen and via the software

RE: Missing Data from my S9 - PaulaO2 - 10-10-2015

Duh. Bless my heart.

According to their chart, it shows pressure and AHI. It does not show leak, nor does it break down the AHI. The card does not have "efficiency data" nor "high resolution row data". It does not have Mask Fit nor Smart Start. Huh. And it is not set up to detect central apnea events.
