Respironics Tube Size - aberglas - 11-17-2015

Setting upa Respironics System One, it asks for the tube size, 15mm or 22mm. But is that internal or external diameter?

My tube is 22mm *external* diamater, about 17mm internal. Looking at pictures on the web it seems like I have what they call a 22mm.

Is that correct?

The 15 mm hose is a noticeably thinner tube, and the setting is usually used for the heated tube. All fittings are 22mm standard. If the hose is considerably smaller than the fitting, use 15 mm otherwise, for all standard tubing use 22 mm.

My Respironics tube has a number on the fitting. The fitting is 22mm, but the hose has a 15 on it.
