Is there anyway to get the beginners guide in PDF so i can reference it easier as i have a crappy internet connection?

Go to this website and plug in the URL to the Guide:

It will convert any webpage to a PDF for you and let you download the resulting PDF file. It will be several megabytes in size.

CutePDF print a web page as a PDF file. Install the free CutePDF program. Then, when you print the page from your web browser, one of the choices will be CutePDF. Print to that and you'll end up with a PDF file.
