Machine CPAP or BIPAP: how to identify. - singhvi - 12-06-2015

I purchased a used M Series 400M machine from another user and it was shipped to me. We both presumed that it is a Bipap.
However when I enter the settings menu, I find that the therapy mode is fixed to CPAP and cannot be changed.
The serial number is M003129145. Can we look this up somewhere?
thanks.

M series 400 is the Pro model manual CPAP. No bilevel.

What does it say just below the buttons? "REMstar Pro M series?" That's a manual CPAP>

I don't think, you can search by the serial number
if Pro in the name, then its fixed CPAP

Welcome
