Hi,

What is the difference between resscan 5.1 en 5.5?

Greetings.

Good question. We really don't know because ResMed doesn't provide any version notes that explain what was changed or updated.

We can make some assumptions that some bugs might have been fixed, or that they've expanded the software to be compatible with the newer machines. But only the ResMed software engineers know for sure and they ain't talking. Bigwink

If an older version is working fine for you, and you haven't noticed any bugs or glitches, I'd say it's probably not absolutely necessary for you to upgrade to the newest version. But that's just my uninformed opinion. Thinking-about

That said, if I had one of the newer AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10 machines, I'd personally want to install the newer 5.5 version of ResScan just to make sure I was operating the latest and greatest software package for my newer machine.
