Eye puffiness - ran-man - 02-19-2016 I hav e been on CPAP for 9 years now and I have huge bags (puffiness) under my eyes. I'm talking HUGE, I Look like I'm about 86 and under a lot of stress and sleep deprived. Could this be a result of longnterm use of the CPAP? Randy RE: Eye puffiness - trish6hundred - 02-20-2016 Hi ran-man, I haven't heard of long-term CPAP use causing puffy eyes. Hang in there for more answers to your question. RE: Eye puffiness - Mghoran - 04-16-2016 I just switched to Dreamware from the Airfit N10. Sleeping much better, but have huge bags under my eyes also now after 3 days.. Maybe because of the Velcro wraps pushing on cheeks ? Not sure, but I can't continue this way.... RE: Eye puffiness - OpalRose - 04-16-2016 Welcome to Apnea Board Mghoran, Maybe try without the straps...although the Dreanware is hard to keep in place especially if you move around a lot. I had a terrible time with it, and leaks bother me. I woke up several times trying to adjust it. I cannot tolerate air blowing in my eyes or any leaks for that matter. As far as puffy eyes, I experience it off and on, depending on the season and humidity. Put some cool compresses on your eyes in the morning. You can also take a regular teaspoon, dip it in ice water and place the spoon over closed eye when you wake up. |
