The most important question comes down to: How do you intend to use it? By that, I mean: Home backup, travel, backpacking, overnight camping? For home, the sealed lead acid is often favored. This battery is Lithium Ion chemistry. Li-Ion is light and has a high power density. The PSR1 is nice in that it can run on 12 VDC. I don't know, off hand, its current versus pressure curve. Their claim of several nights -- I suspect is inflated. I can tell you why the battery is rated just under 100 Watt-Hrs -- because under 100 Watt-Hrs is permitted to be carried onto a commercial airline. Mongo Member IEEE |
