ResMed AirFit N10 problems. - cohngr - 03-04-2016

Hello everyone! I used the ResMed Airfit N10 for the first time last night. Lasted 90 minutes! It is so noisy and the wind blows on my face. (It was not leaking). I sleep on my side with a pillow over my head. Anyone else experience this. I just cannot use it. How much success have any of you had in exchaning your masks. Its something here that you cannot try before you buy. And VERY expensive! Thanks all!

You're not alone. I have a FFM and tried the N10 last week a few times, but had a lot of trouble breathing with it and was just unable to tolerate that mask. I went back to my FFM and will perhaps try the N10 again at some point, but not now.

I found that the N10 almost always leaked air around my nasal bridge and into my eyes. Eventually I started using the Wisp. Unlike the N10, the Wisp has a double wall up the sides. This seems to make a much better seal, and I sleep better, and no more morning dry eyes.

Have you tried changing the pillow size? It came with s/m/l. Give the others a try. I had some leaking on medium so I went to large and it's been fantastic.

Hi cohngr,
I have also used the AirFit N10 and found it very noisy as well. I liked the headgear and the magnetic clips but I couldn't use it for long because it was too noisy for me.
Good luck finding a mask that works well for you.
