Dreamstation says I use ramp when I don't - Wizzysizzy - 03-30-2016

Been using a PR Dreamstation for about 3 months and noticed that the Dreammapper software reports 45 mins of ramp starting at 4.0.

I rarely use the ramp feature, as I don't mind my normal pressure of 8.0.

Anybody else notice this or do I have a defective machine and/or software. Thanks!

Thanks

I'm pretty sure Dreammapper just shows whatever the ramp is set up as whether you use it or not. I see the same thing and sleepyhead has the correct info so it seems to be an app problem not the machine or the data it generates

Go into the clinicians settings (press and hold ramp and the knob adjustment at the same time) and disable ramp altogether. If after that, it still shows you as using ramp, its probably a malfunction.

I don't know the answer to your question, but the first DreamStation that I got was defective. It was programmed for 6 and reported 6 in Encore, but reported 6.5 on the device itself. It also made odd screeching noises at time and shut off on its own. So a defective device is a possibility. The one I had now has been perfect.
