leak - Maternity Angel - 04-21-2016
Hi there, I have a phillips respironics servo ventilator (ASV). My sleepyhead program is saying that lately i have significant periods of large leaks and my AHI has been averaging 9-13, yet the machine itself says :
1 day -0%
7 days -1%
30 days - 0%
My AHI :
1 day - 6.5
7 days - 7.8
30 days - 6.7
How do I know what is going on?
I use either a nasal mask resumed mirage fx or F & P pilairo.

With a nasal mask, large leaks are often associated with opening the mouth... hence leaking out the mouth.
Leaks can effect therapy; likely if you fix the leaks, the AHI will improve.
Can you attach a screenshot from Sleepyhead?

Nice job on the attachment. The events at primarily hyponeas.
The machine is taking care of the CAs.
It says 0% in Large leak; I'm not sure that's true.
Can you try another screenshot with the leak graph in view?

I am not sure why you are doubting the 0 large leak number Mongo. The event chart shows the same thing and Angel's readings from the machine follow in the same vein. Preponderance of the evidence???

Damn i tried to attach last nights view. It was so much better. I had the nose mask on and tried to sleep pretty much upright all night! I guess the quota is a daily thing? Will try again later. Thanks for your input

You were limited to 512kB for attached images.
You can push an image to a photo sharing site like Imgur or Photobucket, then post inline between image tags.

Im not that techno unfortunately. And i am at work so don't have to much time to fiddle around with it.
Is the limit a daily one?
