ResMed AutoSet S9 Shuts Off Suddenly - geoffleach - 07-18-2016

At 3am, I find that all of a sudden my S9 is not pumping any air. The window is slowly flashing the ResMed logo. I discover that the problem can be cured by removing the SD card. What's it trying to tell me?

Thanks.

I've been away for a week and I'm surprised that nobody has responded yet.
Did you figure out a cure? If so, would you let us know for future reference?
If you use ResScan to read the card, does it tell you anything useful?
Can you check the SD card for data corruption, or replace it with a new one?

That's all I can think of so far...

Sounds like the card is corrupt. As a software developer, it seems an odd choice to have the therapy stop in that event. Maybe it is something they did not test for. It could also be indicating that the card is full, but again stopping therapy seems a very bad design choice to handle that event.

SD card is virtually empty (according to Windows 7, at least) The unit is performing splendly without the card. I'll give it a try with a new card, FWIW.

Sounds like the card went bad. Interesting that it would make the CPAP machine stop working.
