Philips series 50 Pro CFlex + and series 60 series differences - stephennic - 08-16-2016

Hi all,
I was given a Philips pro 50 series fixed pressure CPAP and it only has about 1100 hours on it. Just wondering what the differences between that model and the 60 series. is the only difference the heated tube?
Is it the same algorythms, noise level, features and read outs for the results. I might keep it as a back up CPAP. Any Thoughts.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers
Steve

The most significant difference is the 60 series allow use of a heated hose; the 50 does not. The functionality of the machine is nearly identical. There are some intricacies in the design and attachment of the main board, but unless you experience a loss of sensor feedback, that is not an issue, and of course the firmware is different. None of that should affect the way the machine works and responds to treat obstructive apnea.
