My S-10 is only giving 4 hours of air. Where can I change the settings to prolong air supply until I remove my nasal pillow mask?

I'm wondering if you have the SmartStart feature turned on. Go into the clinician menu and make sure if it's turned off. You will then have to manually start and stop the unit. If it is currently off then I would suspect s defective unit. . . maybe a power supply. You will need to contact your CPAP supplier.

Sorry for not being a fountain of info for you.

Rhe smart start can turn your unit off, if there is a large leak. It can think you took your mask off because of the leaks. Power supply or defective unit if that is not the case. I know it is not fun to awake needing air because machine shut down

Crimson, thanks for your quick response. I will have the Medical Supplier check the machine, but first I will check the SmartStart feature if it is turned on or off.

Is it always at the 4 hr mark?

I'm leaning toward what the others have said: If it's turning itself off by itself, it probably thinks you have removed the mask. Either make sure you don't have a large leak, or turn off the auto-shutoff feature.

Thanks looks like you are both pretty much in the same direction.

Just thought of something else:

If you don't keep your mouth closed, you'll lose a lot of air through that pathway. I don't know if the CPAP will register that as a large enough leak to shut itself off???
