Mask liners are worth using if you have a problem with irritation or leakage into the eyes. They do not stop leakage but diffuse it so that you won't be bothered by it.

I make my own mask liners by using tee-shirt material cut to shape for the upper area of the mask to prevent the bothersome air blowing into my eyes and also prevent nose bridge irritation, which was a major problem for me with the Mirage Quattro FF mask.

Dude

If the leakage exceeds 24 L/min. it will affect the ability of the cpap unit to prevent AHI events so keep that in mind. Excessive leakage will also make the drying effect of cpap therapy on the nose and mouth more of a problem.
