Any other clues to improve my AHI? - jm54 - 09-30-2016

One and half month into CPAP. AHIs improve from 6~10 range to 3.5~6.5 range lately. I have gradully increase the min. pressure from 5 to 8. Leak also become less after familiar to the mask. However there are still many bad nights with lots of events and I feel blood pressures were higher in the morning. Events tend to cluster around 3~4 groups with 1:30am and 4:30am more prominent. I also had many nights with periodic breathing 1 hour after turn-in. I tried to turn the flex off and seems not much different.

Any suggestion?

Id keep nudging the min pressure up a little at a time.
Clusters tend to show your min is still leaving to big a gap to climb before its reaching a theraputic pressure.

I started at 6 min 2 yrs ago 18 max.
And the machine used the whole range. With clusters .
I took over myself brought my min up to 8 then 10 then 11. For many months now my machine runs from 11 to no more than 13.5, even though its set on 18max.
Ahi under 1 consistantly
Get the min pressure right, the max will narrow itself down,
