Smaller CPAP good with NasalAireII Prongs? - JLUS - 12-14-2016 I currently use a very old (10 yrs+) ResMed VPAP and want to switch to a smaller, lighter weight CPAP (or auto) as I travel quite a lot. I use NasalAire II Nasal Prongs so want something compatible. Want a humidifier as well. Thoughts? Suggestions?? THANKS! Laurie RE: Smaller CPAP good with NasalAireII Prongs? - OpalRose - 12-14-2016 Hi JLUS, Any mask can be used with any brand machine, so that is your choice or what you are comfy with. Here is a link to guide you in choosing a new cpap, preferably an APAP. Be sure you are buying a data capable machine so you can track your therapy. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Archangle:Machine_Choices Some things to consider: Are you going through insurance? If you don't have insurance or don't have good coverage with a high deductible, you would do better to self pay. Do you have a copy of your prescription? Do your research first, and know what you want before letting a Doctor or DME pawn off a "brick", this is a machine that is not data capable. I wish you good luck as you continue your CPAP therapy and also with finding a newer machine. |
