Can ResScan export DATA to Excel (or csv) file - JimN262 - 12-18-2016

Hello,
I seem to remember that my old AutoScan 5.4 software (which would require some effort to get running since it requires a Windows XP machine) was able to export things like minute-by-minute pressure and leak data as values to an Excel readable file.

I can't get ResScan 5.6/7 to do that. When I tell it to create a CSV (comma separated value -- readable by Excel) file, it does that but includes only some basic information about the patient. I need it to export what it now calls Detailed Data.

I once used this data to prove that a mask leak was caused by an increase in pressure, not the other way around (long story) because the graphs were not detailed enough to pick out the difference.

Sleepy Head doesn't want to do it either.

Am I missing something? Hope... Hope... Smile

Thank you,

Jim

Checking to see if you're doing these steps in ResScan:
File, Open patient, to make sure you've loaded your info.
File, Export
- at the bottom, specify the date range
AND
- specify Export All

And for SleepyHead:
File,
Export Data,
CSV Export Wizard,
Quick Range - select from drop down
Details
Filename - and path
Export

Thanks to all for their suggestions, unfortunately, ResScan cannot be coaxed into outputting one line per patient per session, along with statistics and demographic (which I have not included). Sorry the column headers wrapped- you get the idea... e.g.,

Session Usage (minutes) Mask Pressure Mean (cmH20) Apnea Index (events/hour) Apnea Hypopnea Index (events/hour) Leak (L/sec) Therapy Mode

11/15/2016 458 8.4 1 1.1 0.4 AutoSet
11/16/2016 443 7.7 0.5 0.9 0 AutoSet
11/17/2016 450 9 0.4 0.5 0 AutoSet
11/18/2016 517 10 0.2 0.3 0 AutoSet
11/19/2016 491 8.3 0.2 0.6 0 AutoSet
11/20/2016 477 10 0.2 0.3 0 AutoSet
11/21/2016 478 9.1 0.5 0.7 0 AutoSet
11/22/2016 433 10.1 0.8 1.2 0 AutoSet

Sleepy Head seems to get the idea of what I need but will only display Pressure and EPAP with no way of choosing the parameter of interest (e.g., Leak, etc.):
