Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - AstralSurfer11 - 12-30-2016 Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and I'm really in need of help trying to get my sleep fixed because right now it's horrible. I downloaded Sleepyhead and it says it's doesn't work with my model machine which is Philips Respironics System 1 (Model220P). It seems this software is important to tracking my progress and problem solving. I am open to straight up buying a new machine compatible with it because I don't want to keep wasting time. Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do from here? Is there any other good software to try or some good used machines I could get for a reasonable price that is compatible with Sleepyhead? Thanks! RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - Crimson Nape - 12-30-2016 Hi AstralSurfer11 - Here is a link to SleepyHead compatible machines: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Archangle:Machine_Choices For used CPAPs see Supplier #2 (Link is also at the top of the page). RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - Beej - 12-30-2016 It may be helpful to post a summary of your sleep test results. Some machine types are specific to types of issues beyond simple obstructive apnea. RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - Sleeprider - 12-30-2016 Astra, the best deal out there right now is the Dreamstation Auto 500. The prices vary day to day, but the lowest I have seen is on Amazon today at $350 complete with heated hose and humidifier. This machine is fully data capable and a huge step-up in features and quality to your old CPAP SE. Keep the SE as a backup and get a great primary machine, but act fast because the price does change. RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - AstralSurfer11 - 01-01-2017 Hi everyone, first off thank you so much for the replies, you've all been super helpful RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - AstralSurfer11 - 01-01-2017 Sorry I have to get my post count to 4 real quick to post a link to a machine I found on craigslist. I was wondering if you would all be so kind to check it for me real quick and make sure it is good. It's a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP. They say it's brand new and asking for $300. RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - AstralSurfer11 - 01-01-2017 Bare with me, I just have to make one more post lol RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - Sleeprider - 01-01-2017 Astral, don't post a link to a Craigslist as since it will probably get edited by a moderator. Just tell us what city it is advertised in. I see Airsense 10 Autosets come up on CL and $300 is a fair price assuming non-smoking household. Ask for the run hours, but unless it's over 5000 I wouldn't worry about it. Great machine. RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - AstralSurfer11 - 01-01-2017 It's in Akron, OH. They say it's brand new. I'll make sure to test it if I go see it tonight. But just wanted to see if there are any other questions to ask the seller or things to check before buying it. I asked them how they got it and why they're selling it. Thank you, RE: Machine Incompatible with Sleepyhead...Now What? - Sleeprider - 01-01-2017 No as long as you have a comfortable transaction with a seller that benefits both of you, life is good. Good luck! That sounds like a fantastic deal. |
