Rescan 5.7 does not recognize Dreamstation SD card - jschenk - 01-18-2017

Hi I have a brand new Philips AUTO CPAP dreamstation.
When I use sleepyhead software I can download the data without any problem.
It reports my Dreamstation as "Auto CPAP (500X150)"

When using Recan 5.7 It won't download, the error is no device or card connected.

I copied the content from the SD card to a empty usb key, but the same result.
Both the SD card and the USB key can be seen in Windows explorer and accessing files on them is no problem.

Does anyone has a clue on how to solve this.
If you follow the next link you can download a zip file containing all content of my SDCard (one night registration), it is also added as attachment.

Resscan is a proprietary software of Resmed, and does not work with Philips Respironics machines. Its corollary is Encore software. You can download EncoreBasic from the forum and it will give full efficacy and compliance reports for your machine.

Ok Thanks that explains a lot.
I was quite sure that I read on some forum about Dreamstation being used with Rescan software, but I most likely mixed some things up.
Thanks again !

Every manufacturer writes different data to the SD card, using their own private data formats. SleepyHead has been written by an independent, diligent, and very persistent programmer, working from almost no documentation, and with the help of a great many users of different machines who contributed their data files for him to study. Rescan was written by programmers working for Resmed, and only reads the data from Resmed machines.
The program you (may) want to use is Encore Basic (probably) or Encore Pro (overkill, for multi-patient offices). Somebody will come along with a link that you can use to download that program. Or they will point out to me the link that it is in our wiki. Cool

Encore pro was easy to use with my dreamstation. I don't mind that I'm my only patient. Smile

Encore Basic does "not" work with the DreamStation, but Encore Pro does.
