New to CPAP - ghs215 - 01-21-2017
Hello All!
I am brand new to CPAP. I have been using Ambien for several years and knew that was not the long term solution. I finally talked to a new Dr and he couldn't believe my previous Dr let me take it for so long and how addictive it was.
He referred me to a Sleep Specialist (sleep study) and I agreed (to appease). I have no intention of jumping through all those loops and the time and cost so I did next next best thing....craigslist... I was able to pick up a Philips-Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP with Humidifier for $300 with only 12 hours on it and Mirage FX mask.
Made some educated guesses and walla, all set up.
Whoa! What an interesting sensation! I am a mouth breather, so this nasal thing is a challenge. So the next best thig you say? Amazon prime! I ordered a Mirage Quattro Full Face System. Should get that tomorrow.
Does anyone know what heated tube I need for this thing?

Just search Amazon for DreamStation heated hose. The last I checked it was around $40.00.

I believe the part number is HT15. As suggested can easily be found online for $40 or less.

You seem like someone who really wants to take charge of your own treatment. Yet you are listing no software
Download and use SleepyHead (free) and then post charts of your usage. Pay attention to the chart organisation because likely charts you feel are important. Frequently are not.
Post and we can help you understand and dial in your treatment
