RERA - E.W. - 02-23-2017 How important is your RERA ? The first night I used my DreamStation I used it in cpap mode set to 14 cm . My AHI 6.55 and my RERA was .97 . But I switched it to auto mode with a pressure of 10 to 18 and while my AHI is now about 2 my RERA is now averaging 4.5 . Is a RERA that high anything to be concerned about ? Perhaps I need to raise my auto start pressure ? RE: RERA - OpalRose - 02-23-2017 E.W., If you are experiencing alot of RERA's, the minimum pressure is too low. Also, the pressure range you are using of 10-18 is too wide. What is your 90% pressure? Set your pressure range 2cm below and 2cm above that number. Example: If the 90% pressure reads 14, then set a range of 12-16. RERA's are arousals that may or may not disturb sleep.
