Sleepyhead data/SD Card/New Machine - pcplus2 - 03-25-2017

I've been using a loaner machine for the past 60+ days and am getting my own machine on Wednesday.  Can I just continue using my existing SD card in my new machine or will that cause problems (does the machine recognize that another machine has been writing data to it)?  It's a Resmed 10 Autoset.  Wondering if I need to backup my data, reformat the card and start fresh with my new machine on Wednesday.  Appreciate the help.

I believe that if you put the SD card from your old machine into the new one, the new CPAP will re-format the card with the new data like the serial number, etc.  Sleepyhead backs up your data every time you download so you can just update sleepyhead on the last morning you use the old machine.

When I changed machines last month, the new one came with it's own SD card.  When I updated sleepyhead with data from the new card, Sleepyhead recognized the new machine and seamlessly updated the new data to a different backup directory.  You might be better off just using a new SD card.
