PRS1+FlashAir W-03 Recording only 7 minutes of waveform data - cntrlwiz - 04-23-2017
I managed to properly set up my PRS1 with a FlashAir card, and I can pull data with FlashPAP.
However, the machine is now only recording about 7 minutes of waveform data with every session.
If I pull the card and read it with my PC, the data is not there...so it isn't a transfer issue.
Any suggestions?

Hi cntrlwiz - Welcome to the forum!
Were you using a regular SD card prior to the FlashAir? If so, was it storing a complete night's worth of data? The only other thing that comes to mind would be to insert the FlashAir into your computer and perform a disk check. Being new, it could just be a bad card.

The original SD card works fine.
The FA card is brand new, so I hope it doesn't have issues.

SOLVED -- I figured this out.
I am using a 16GB FlashAir W-03 SD card.
My PRS1 was put into service in July 2012, and it has 905 firmware.
For whatever reason, it can't tolerate the 16GB SD card.
So, I reformatted the card as a 2GB card, and it works fine.
That means I have "only" 2GB of space for data, but almost 5 years of data is only taking up about 180mb.
I think I'll survive.

NOT SOLVED... It worked ok for 1 night, then it's back to only capturing a little bit (5-10 minutes) of waveform data at the beginning of a session.
Back to the drawing board... I guess the next thing is to try a different card.
