Airsense 10 - elabuza - 04-26-2017

I have a ResMed AirSense 10.  SmartStart is on, but it suddenly will not automatically shut off.  How do I correct this?

With pillows mask it won't shut off:

From pg 3 of the P10 manual:

Notes:
 This mask is not compatible for use with ResMed
AutoSet CS™ 2 and VPAP™ Adapt SV devices.
 SmartStart may not operate effectively when using this mask
with some CPAP or bilevel devices that have this feature.
 If you experience nasal dryness or irritation, using a humidifier is
recommended.

Both my Aircurve 10 shuts off with P10 large pillows, and my wife's Autoset turns off with P10 medium pillows. I don't know that there is a fix, but the machine needs to detect an unrestricted leak. Maybe disconnect he mask at the hose and see if that does it? Otherwise power button.

SMartstart shut off had work for about a year with a pillow mask.

Verify the settings, power cycle the machine. If it doesn't work, there is not much we can do. You could inquire about repair or replacement if under warranty.

Smart start shutoff has never worked on my A10 with medium P10 pillows. On yes, off never.
