Resmed S9 Auto Set Data Crashed - marg0011xx - 05-02-2017

[attachment=3426]
Use a S9 Autoset and up to now no problem with Data on SD-Card. But after one night after removing the mask the S9 did not stop whatever i did and i pulled the plug. Next day it seemed to work. 2 weeks later I removed the Card to see what data are stored and realized, that data has stopped storing. I realized that an unknown huge data was one it - greater than 3 Gb - with a name USBC ???? This data is so big, that no other data can be stored on the card.
My question : is this lost data stored internally and can it retrived ? I need to verify the usage of the S9 to the regional medical insurance.
Thank you for your assistance, Margit

Generally the machines save compliance data internal to the machine and not on the SD card. The detailed data for short term analysis is written to the card. I am not familiar with yours specifically, but some others will be along soon to help with that.

Personally, I would try to reinitialize the card, but again do not know how for your device. Once it can record again, new detailed data will become available. The medical center usually only wants to see about 2 weeks or less of detailed data, and the overall compliance data which is still going to be available.

Good luck.

I would save that card and get a new 4GB SD card. Insert the new card; and it should ask if you wish to format the card -- let it format the card. It should write the compliance data that is internally stored to the new card. I have no idea what the USBC file is. Google comes up with United States Bowling Championship.

Thank you indeed. Got a new card, inserted it and looked into it afterwards. I did not see any data on it but the formating of card - i thought i will see data next day, but no old data, which is stored internally as is said by a specialist from the supplier. But after I started the ResScan Program I could load all the missed data!!! Thanks goodness . I could not see any data on the card ! Is it a hidden file? I dont know. Nevertheless I have my old data.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your help. I got a new card inserted it but could not see any old data. As i wrote before, i luckily could load my data with the ResScan programm.

Danke, ja, lebe in Österreich.

Thank you, yes, live in Austria. I'm an electronics engineer, so I can usually check if there is data on the card. The Dtalog is easy to see, as you can see if data are stored per day. This was no longer possible with the "defective" card (only data for 2 days), because a file USBC was unexplainably written on the card or the formatting of the card was damaged by an error. This file could not be copied, too, and Windows asked for an error handling of the map. Anyway. Much more would have interested me where the data are hidden, which I could read about the program from the map. I guess that is a hidden file. Interessahalber. I have looked at all data with a HexEditor, also here no indication of hidden information - ????
Thanks for the help. Yours sincerely, Margit

Thank you, problem luckily solved. I would have known, while the information is stored in the device, where is the old data stored on the SD card when the card is inserted ? A hidden file ? Maybe someone has the answer. I would like to know. Regards Margit
