Sleepyhead won't read file - Riick - 05-14-2017 Hi !! I'm a newbie here, but have been using/misusing as ResMed CPAP for several years. So, got here, have been messing about with pressure settings, etc., on the machine, and now, I want to learn what I'm doing right and/or wrong. I've installed both Sleepyhead & the ResMed software on my Win7 pro desktop -- However: The ResMed software "installs" but won't run at all. OTOH, Sleepyhead installs, but won't read any data from a copy of the SD card (all data in it's own subdirectory), and won't read data from the SD card either. No joy, no nuttin' Question: Do I want to point the software at the whole directory, or at just one of the subdirectories - there are four. Note - a text file found in root of the directory says Patient is in #4 ?? H E L P TIA -- Rick RE: Sleepyhead won't read file - DeepBreathing - 05-15-2017 G'day Rick. Welcome to Apnea Board. Quote:The ResMed software "installs" but won't run at all.I suspect it's a driver issue. When ResScan installs it asks if you want to load a couple of device drivers - you should select "No". Some members have reported that the drivers corrupt the installation and the program won't run properly. Try uninstalling ResScan, then reinstall without the drivers. Quote:OTOH, Sleepyhead installs, but won't read any data from a copy of the SD card SleepyHead is looking for the top-level directory, not for a directory inside the card. So point it at E: (or F: or whatever your card reader is) not to E:\datalog. RE: Sleepyhead won't read file - Riick - 05-22-2017 Downloaded a fresh copy of the .exe file--- SleepyHead-1.0.0-beta-2-Snapshot-Win32-OpenGL-20160422 Installed it as Administrator, and running it as Administrator, but it consistently crashes when it hits 4% of data installed. Crash leaves a lock file in data directory, deleting that lets me run it again, but just f*&%!! crashes again. I'm running 63 bit Windows 10. Perhaps it wants a 32 bit version of the OS? Grrrrrrr. |
