Which machine or mask should I buy? - Hygoh77 - 09-08-2012

Hi,

I have been diagnosed recently of suffering from OSA. Been advised by doctor to undergo CPAP treatment. Wonder brand and model should I get? Besides I do not know which mask is comfortable and good.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to forum
Mask is a personal choice you need to find local provider so they can show several masks to try and find what works best for you as everyone is different. Check out here types of different masks:

If you haven,t got insurance go the Supplier List and check out Supplier #2 for new and gently used machines.

Most popular auto full data capable machines ResMed S9 AutoSet (Not S9 Escape or S9 Escape Auto) and Phillips Respironcis System One Auto (Not the Plus model). Auto machines (APAP) are better value for money, works as straight CPAP or auto adjusting/titrating (two machines in one)
