1st RDI 0.00 - car54 - 05-30-2017

This is my 1st RDI of 0, I have had many AHI of 0 over my 3 years of Cpap.
[attachment=3513].
I have always used #3 EPR because I could not tolerate 0 EPR when I started.
After reading this post, I decided to try 0 EPR just for the heck of it.

Notice how smooth my respiratory and flow rates are in comparison the 3 EPR graphs.

I hope this is not a fluke.

RE: 1st RDI 0.00 - Crimson Nape - 05-30-2017

Not bad for 18 minutes. I can't get to sleep that fast.

Crimson Nape,
I did not notice that it was only for 18 minutes. I have no idea where the rest of the night went. I hope there is a trend anyways.

RE: 1st RDI 0.00 - quiescence at last - 05-30-2017

when I look at your two charts, I think I see the following:
  • Your machine was on APAP both nights. When set to APAP, there is exactly 2 cm of pressure relief (set relief).
  • You have your variable relief set on FLEX x3 on one night, and changed to FLEX x1 on the second night.
  • he he - I noticed it was only 18 minutes, too. Big Grin
Your RERA was not much, but it does seem to have quieted due to the changes, and is what I would expect.

review what the settings do, described in post - http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Respironics-questions?pid=206250#pid206250

Hopefully you can find and post the whole second night.

Nice job, anyway.

QAL
ps. YOU MIGHT ALSO TRY TO GET JUST THE FIRST 18 MINUTES OF THE FIRST NIGHT AND DO A COMPARISON OF THE WAVEFORMS.
