Any CMS50I users ? - djrem3000 - 06-01-2017

Hi,
Any CMS50I users ?
I'm new to sleep apnea, have bought CMS50I (SW VER: 1.2; HW VER: 1.1) yesterday and have recorded one night session already, but have a problem of importing the data recorded at night to SleepyHead Software. The problem is - the data is directly imported to SleepyHead software (via directly connected device) without any errors, but the session duration is invalid, the PI graph is showing totally invalid negative values and etc.
While using the default software which goes with CMS50I - Spo2 Assistant - everything is ok, the data is correct. While trying to import the data of Spo2 Assistant (*.spo2 file) to SleepyHead - i'm getting the error, that the file is incompatible. And trying to directly import the data as i stated before - the values imported are invalid.

Do you have the same issues ?

Hi djrem3000 - Welcome
The short answer is "Yes", SleepyHead version 1.0 broke this feature. If you are only using SleepyHead for the CM50, you could use the prior version, 0.9.8.1. It worked perfectly with the CMS50 series. To let you know, using the SpO2 file will not import the PI data into SleepyHead, You have to preform a direct import to have this data display.

I have found that the SpO2 info is stored on the next day. For example, my Sleepyhead data imported for my Bipap was for last night (6-8-2017), when I imported using Oximeter wizard, the graphs from my CMS-50F show on 6-9-2017.

The Resmed's day is from noon to noon.  The CMS50's day is midnight to midnight.   If you go to bed at 1:00AM Saturday the 10th, that is part of Resmed's Friday the 9th's day.   The CMS50I will record it as the 10th.

I'm a CMS50I user too. I also have a CMS50E & a CMS50D, older finger units.

I've almost stamped on mine, and the CMS50E too. I had trouble downloading data when I first got it 3 months ago; neither SPO2 Assistant nor SleepyHead recognized it and I eventually managed to download via SPO2 Review. However, using it today for the first time since then, I just cannot get anything to work: as before, neither SPO2 Assistant nor SleepyHead recognized it, but now SPO2 Review hangs up with the message that it has connected and trying to download data. I tried my other Contec USB lead without joy. Now the CMS50E immediately bounces to download off as soon as I release the button after selecting download on.

I scan read the stuff here on SleepyHead and gave up. I know the USB lead should be the Contec one, but neither work.

Contec's websites are useless. I've emailed them.

I really do get frustrated when electronics and computers don't work as they're supposed to. I seem to get it all the time. I've lost count of the number of times I've had the response 'I've never heard of that before' from forums and support staff. Perhaps I have an aura that affects things. I have smashed a netbook and a laptop out of sheer frustration and various smaller items have bounced well.
