error message - Rpalmieri - 06-05-2017

I get the error message service required but no code. I tried blowing out the air ducts but still get the same message. It occurs even with the data card removed. No other information. Any suggestions? Thank you

Does it do any beeping?

Unplug the machine from the wall. Unplug if from its cord. Wait a full minute or more. Reverse the process.

Hi Rpalmieri,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
usually, when you get a service required message, your machine can't be fixed but, hang in there for more answers to your questions.
Good luck to you with CPAP therapy.

RE: error message - dmeRT - 06-07-2017

contact your dme company as your machine needs to be sent out for malfunction. they should provide you with a loaner to use. if respironics does not repair your model of cpap then you'll go through the process of getting a new machine.

There used to be a source that listed what each series of beeps means. It was like a hidden code kind of thing. Check your user manual to see if it says anything about the beeps.

But more than likely, you'll need to have it fixed or replaced.

On the previous generation of Respironics machines the error codes were stored in files on SD card. People who repair them know how to read them. Check our Supplier List.
