Mesmerized?

AI = apnea index and is the sum of the obstructive apnea index (OA) and central apnea index (CA). AI = OA + CA

AHI (Apnea Hypopnea Index) is nothing more than adding the Hypopnea value to the AI value. This provides a total score for the most common types of breathing events.
