I wonder if this is Fitbits attempt to regain market momentum after last year's class action lawsuit alleging that Fitbit's activity trackers were somewhat inaccurate. As one who has an arrhythmia, most devices that rely on accurate pulse detection, counts, and interval timing fail to produce reliable or usable results.
