New charts !!! - trickyneedsleep - 07-09-2017 Here's my data, awaiting suggestions. I admit I am sleeping much better!! On the 8th I cut my grass so allergies kicked in so data might appear to be worse but it's because of allergies. Please keep that in mind http://imgur.com/a/gSC4u - Main Chart http://imgur.com/a/edeIK - July 4th http://imgur.com/a/D5ftA - July 5th http://imgur.com/a/qsPfA - July 6th http://imgur.com/a/4bOW6 - July 7th http://imgur.com/a/VpTgD - July 8th RE: New charts !!! - Gideon - 07-09-2017 Where are your old charts, Why are you at 9-13? These say more pressure but I don't know your history. RE: New charts !!! - ajack - 07-09-2017 I'd try 11 min 15 max and turn the flex off or 1 for the CA. You are going to need to set your charts up as per bonjour's link in his signature, to get detailed advice. Old charts RE: New charts !!! - trickyneedsleep - 07-09-2017 The old charts are really not reliable. I was not using the machine consistently. NOW I am starting on July 4th, so that's why I didn't post any charts prior to. My settings are now: Flex = 1 Min = 9 Max = 12 RE: New charts !!! - Sleeprider - 07-09-2017 TNS, you look to me like a person that would benefit immensely from a soft cervical collar. The clusters of obstructive events suggest posture issues that are obstructing your airway. I'll let someone with experience using them say more, but they can be comfortable, prevent leaks and prevent an airway from closing up due to tucking your chin to chest and other issues. You are looking for a comfortable fit 2-inches larger than the circumference of your neck and just tall enough to support the jaw when your head falls out of alignment (measure your neck from collarbone to jaw and subtract 1". It's a very small investment that has worked very well for some people. I am VERY used to wearing the mask, quicker than I thought. I only wake up when I have to use the restroom. The help from this site is increible!1 Thank you all RE: New charts !!! - robysue - 07-11-2017 trickyneedsleep, Your usage is indeed much improved. Your AHI numbers are still too high, but you knew that already. I'll throw in my 2 cents of advice with some comments: 1) I don't think you have enough CAs to worry about. Use the Flex setting that is most comfortable and natural feeling to you. 2) When posting daily data, please post the event chart. It's not showing up when I look at your images. Likewise, for some reason the scales on your SleepyHead graphs are not showing up when I look at the images. That makes it hard to evaluate the leak data. 3) The leaks appear to be well controlled until the end of the night. Any chance you tend to sleep on your back at the end of the night? 4) If you are looking for advice on how to tweak the pressures, here's what I'd do:
RE: New charts !!! - trickyneedsleep - 07-12-2017 Honestly, I was thinking that going from an AHI of 38.4 to the lowest being 6.6 is GREAT progress! RE: New charts !!! - Marillion - 07-12-2017 Great progress for sure! But I would wager if you follow the advice above you will do much better than 6 on a consistent basis. |
