Unable to Download Data Card to EncorePro - fwg1947 - 07-09-2017

I am new to this board and installed SleepyHead software as recommended.  I have not had any problems using it.

I decided to install EncorePro also, because I used Encore Basic for several years with a previous CPAP machine.  I was not able to get Encore Basic to work with my new DreamStation CPAP Pro.

I successfully downloaded and installed EncorePro  Version 2.20.6.0 today.  After adding myself as a patient following the instructions in the User Guide, I tried to download my data card.  Every tab related to downloading data give me the error message:  "The media does not belong to an active EncorePro patient" .  I get the same error message if I try to preview the card using the Utilities menu.  The Help menu says this message will be displayed if the patient information on the card does not match a patient already in the system.    I tried using my full name as I normally give to providers along with the serial number of the machine, but I still get the same error message.

So how do I find out what patient information is already on the card so I can create a matching patient profile?

Just ignore the message and click the download button and it will download your data.

I get the same message with Encore Basic. Just ignore the message and continue on, it downloads just fine.

Thanks pupcamper and OpalRose for your help.  I did as you said.   I just ignored the error message and clicked Download and the data was then downloaded.

Having set up both SleepyHead and Encore Pro 2 in the last few weeks, I understand why ApneaBoard members prefer SleepyHead.  It is much more intuitive and is easier to set up and to use.
