Resmed Machines - weeble - 07-24-2017

Hi everyone....been away a long time but hopefully am back now. So I just wanted to ask if anyone is using the Resmed Autosense S10 and has used the Resmed S9 also.

I've used both and although I'm not troubled by it because my AHI is still very low - I'm curious to find out if anyone has higher AHI readings on the S10. I was constantly under 1.0 with the S9 for years but with the S10 I rarely get under 1 and have been as high as 3 - as I said, not concerned at all just curious as to why this would happen. I've fiddled with the settings but still get the same readings. very odd

Are the numbers you are quoting all come from SleepyHead? Do the flow patterns look the same from both machines? If not, what are the differences?

RE: Resmed Machines - weeble - 07-24-2017

yep - they are all pretty much identical....I'm just guessing that the machines are just different!

you have the for her model, that has two algorithms, a hard and soft, or whatever they call them, swap to the other and see if it's different

Thanks, I didn't know that yes I do have the for her model but I don't have the soft or standard configuration - been through the complete setup and can't see it anywhere Thinking-about

Yeah the only thing I can find that covers this are the settings for cpap, auto or for her so I'm gonna go with these settings and perhaps change it to auto and see if there is a difference.
