Help with new Z1 travel CPAP! - Fozjared - 08-30-2017

I've been using a CPAP for a little over a year now with great success!  I've been using the resmed air sense 10  and have zero complaints about this machine other than its size..  I am a pilot so I travel 13 to 15 nights per month so I decided to purchase a travel CPAP so I shopped around and for the price I decided on the Z1 cpap..  I ordered it from second wind CPAP online and I've had a great experience with them so far!  So last night I decided to use this CPAP in my home instead of taking it on a trip and trying it out for the very first time in a hotel.  My pressure setting is 16 so I'm wondering if maybe that's just too much for this small machine?  I use nasal pillows so there's not a whole lot of wasted air pressure  even still it seems like it's just not keeping up if I take a deep breath it seems to compress the hose just a tiny bit and I feel a little like I'm struggling to breathe. Has anyone else had this experience with the Z1? Thanks!!

Hi Fozjared,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
I’m not sure what would cause that problem with your
z1.
Hopefully, someone who is more familiar with your new machine will have an answer to your question.
Good luck as you continue CPAP therapy.
