I have a wife like that, but not a doctor.  Keep the wife anyway  Too-funny but get a new doctor.  People are not tired all the time without a reason.  Get a doctor who is willing to act like one and track this down.

As I mentioned before, Vitamin D supplements helped me and are cheap.  If you don't live in the very Southern part of the US and spent a lot of time unclothed outdoors, you might want to read up on this and get tested.  There are a lot of things like this that affect sleep and some are affected by other medications, like Proton  Pump Inhibitors, that you may be taking.

Don't accept "some people are like that" as a medical opinion.  I once had a pain in my lower back and hips, worse at night.  Screaming on the floor worse.  Fell down when I was walking (sober, I mean).  I was told it was mild arthritis, that pain was subjective, that I needed to exercise and stretch more, then that I just needed to find a way to live with the pain.  Pressed my doctor until I finally got an MRI.  Got the results and... into emergency surgery.  All better now.
