ResMed A10 turning itself off, then back on. - Rolando - 09-21-2017

I've a 2 month old ResMed A10 that has just started turning itself off, then back on. Anyone have this problem?

You either have Smart start selected on or you have a loose connection at the power source. That could be at the wall, power brick, or machine. Also it could be a loose connection inside the machine.

A major leak in conjunction with the Smart Start feature might trigger this. Especially if you have the A10 set to a nasal pillow setting and using a FFM.

My first thought was loose connection. I checked them all repeatedly. I've turned off Smart Start. It does seem that when there is a brief stop in breathing pressure (like an Apnea!) that will cause the machine to turn off.

Rolando,
If you can't find the reason for this, consider returning your machine for a replacement.
There should be a 2 year warranty.
