Can I send SleepyHead-readable data as an email attachment? - VisitorX - 11-22-2017

Question: Is there a way I can send, as an email attachment, complete SleepyHead data for one night (including waveforms) to someone?

Background: I currently use a DreamStation b/c my doctor wants to be able to look at my complete SH data, including wave forms, remotely. He does not use Resmed because he can't look at full data remotely. For a number of reasons, I am looking into the possibility of getting a Resmed machine and wonder if there is a way around this problem. Complicating things, I may be out of the country for a period of time, which would make mailing him SD cards impractical.

Is there a solution to this problem, using email or another means?

Thanks.

Yes you can "Print Report" from Main menu on Sleepyhead for each screen and send in pdf format. You should be able to see graphs as well. And also I suggest to save in csv format as well so they can see more data.

you can copy the sd card and send that, they can paste on an empty sd card and use it as they will, I've done that with the doctor.

When I have exchanged data, I usually assign a private Dropbox address where the SD card can be copied, as well as any reports. To use the data, the entire card must be copied with the folders and files as they appear in the SD card root directory.

Look in my Useful Links at the bottom of this post.   There are instructions on how to create a zip file of an SD card so you can save or share it.  However, you may have a hard time getting the doctor to accept the file.  Many doctors are horribly ignorant about computers and science and are scared of technology.   They also have a legitimate concern about getting hacked.
