SD card is not showing date - sleepytimegal - 12-02-2017
Hi again, Things have been going well with my Sleepyhead data until just today. I discovered that my SD card had not recorded any data for the last 2 nights of sleep. At first I thought it was because it had been locked, but that wasn't the case. I was wondering if it might be full, but there was no message to that effect. I looked in my ResMed My Air program that gives data (but not as much) and the data for the missing Sleepyhead nights was in My Air. So the machine was on and working. I'm wondering if this means I should just go out and buy a new one? Will any kind do? Do I need to report this to my Homecare Provider? I've been using the card for 16 months.

I'd try formatting it first. It could have gotten corrupted. But they are cheap.

Normally, Resmed's start overwriting the oldest files when the card reaches its maximum storage.. SD cards can go bad.. I would first try reformatting the card. The worst thing is that you have to replace it. Any SD card 2Gb or larger will work

No surprise they recommend their own cards which are relatively cheap (~ $16 MSRP) which meet FDA specs.
This is not an area where you want to "cheap out" because what is your data worth?
Don't forget to backup your data and use the locking tab when transferring your card from your device to be read on your computer.
