[Therapy Question] Anomaly need a quick look.. - dracus - 01-27-2018

Howdy my cpap hive minds.

It's been about 3 months I've been on CPAP and most of the time I have an AHI of 0-.8 or so less than one consistently. I wake up feeling awesome and refreshed. My mental clarity and such which I thought was awesome has only improved.

Recently though I've been having an odd thing where I will have a greater than 1.0 night and I'll pull up the graph I'll have next to nothing in terms of hypnoea, or obstructive. I will however have a large cluster of clear airways. I let it go the first couple times. Thought it was a one off.

It has happened now at least 4 nights in the past couple weeks or so.

My original PSG didn't show any centrals and for the most part I've only had a few here and there. This is a bit different and on nights when these happen I don't wake up feeling like I slept well. Not sure chicken or the egg.

Here's a pretty representative graph of whats happening...So far I have made no adjustments, and the only thing I've done is try with and without cervical collar and I've had this happen both ways.

Let me know if I need to zoom in or whatever on these graphs. Could just be "phase".

I'll take a wild guess and say you woke up from the obstructive event and the tossing and turning afterwards caused the cluster of CA's.

Could be...that does make sense with what's been happening.
