Some of it took some thought to figure out how to disassemble, but a lot of it was removable.

I'm reluctant to wash the hose this way. Unless you are careful how you place it, or you open it up between cycles, I worry dirty water will stay in the hose between cycles.

Mine is on the way. We will see how it does
Thanks for the feedback

I use only distilled water in my humidifier. I rinse the tubing once a week and run water through my Breeze mask with pillow removed. I wash the pillows with soap and warm water once a week. During the week, I just use wet wipes to clean off the Chap Ice lip balm that I rub on them to prevent nasal chapping.

So far, so good.

Does anyone else have the constant phobia that a spider has crawled into your CPAP tubing and is going to climb up your noise once your machine starts blowing? Yikes, that imagery haunts me! I don't have OCD or anything, but I press my button once or twice and blow out my system before I put my headgear on every night, just to make sure no creepy crawly got in there.

My oldest brother got me into CPAP (I refer to it as a sleep cult lol). When I first started I was miserable. He had been on it for months before me and swore by it's healing power. He would tell me that he couldn't wait to put on his CPAP at night...my response? "You're strapping it to YOUR face, right?" Too-funny

I made my own hose end plugs from 1/2" PVC pipe plugs. These are cheap. A handful of these are a few dollars.
I just drill about eight 1/16" holes in the end so it can air out but no vermin can crawl inside.

Don't say that! You'll make me afraid to use my CPAP ever again!

It's the spiders that are carrying satchel charges that cause all the problems anyway.

I'm pretty fortunate because most of the spiders I get in my house are too large to fit in the hose.
